The work was carried out under demanding conditions, but the result ensures both long-term durability and high safety for the structures supporting the city’s infrastructure. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\nMeasurement of load-bearing steel structures<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\nA central part of the project was the measurement of load-bearing steel structures. With advanced measuring equipment, we were able to record precise data on the condition of the materials. This allows for the timely detection of any wear, enabling maintenance planning before problems escalate. <\/span><\/div>\n\nInspection of anodes and corrosion protection<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\nCorrosion is a natural challenge for steel in an environment like Greenland. Therefore, we conducted thorough inspections of anodes and remaining corrosion protection. This way, we can confirm that the structures are secured against degradation \u2013 and suggest measures if additional protection is needed.<\/div>\n
